Overview

The transformation of the ground floor at Addleshaw Goddard was driven by the desire to create a new workspace that suited the company’s current ways of working. They wanted to develop a sense of place and community by providing a variety of work settings that met the needs of varying work styles. We worked with Addleshaw Goddard to refurbish space into one with spaces for private, focused working, breakout for collaboration, and social for staff to come together and recharge.

Approach

To meet the the requirements, we created a sleek and modern space, using elements of wood and greenery to add a touch of nature to the working environment. We incorporated elements like a feature wallcovering, a custom neon sign, and a foliage wall to ensure the look and feel of the space met the brief.

To develop this unique, multi-purpose space, we designed agile workstations, informal meeting areas, collaboration tables, a social space, a relaxed lounge setting and an upmarket coffee bar to mimic the vibe of a coffee bar. With these enhanced design features and clever use of lighting, we transformed the space into a light and inspiring environment that is far removed from the traditional workplace and should fulfil the needs of its users for years to come.

Highlights
  • Overcoming obstacles to install an attractive feature wallcovering at the far end of the office.
  • Developing a striking and original entrance area using foliage, a neon sign, and the natural dark interiors of the building
  • Contributing to a modern workspace that will last into the future.
