Overview

Origo is the eCommerce standards and services body for the UK financial services industry.

They were looking for a new office space to accommodate growth, allowing for future expansion of staff numbers and to provide a modern, people-centric workspace.

The time had come for Origo to move from a tired, outdated building into a fresh new office space that would reflect their brand and values. The location of the new office provides a beautiful backdrop of trees and greenery and gives a visual connection for internal and external space.

Our Approach

The glass fronted offices for management allows for natural light and views to be seen by all staff in the open plan office area.

Whilst the unusual shape of the space was a challenge, it gave scope for a non-regimental layout for the bench desking system, which is ideal to allow staff to work in their teams yet still being part of the overall body of the business.

The location and layout of the large staff kitchen and breakout area prioritises staff, encouraging collaboration and providing alternative work settings.

This area was designed to take full advantage of the natural light and views and various options for informal meetings.

Origo’s brand has been recognised throughout through the colour used in the furniture and screening and the design of the decals to the glazed partitions.
