Nick Baxter created the Cornerstone Foundation 40 years ago, with the vision that people with disabilities should not simply be able to live, but thrive, within their local communities. Cornerstone is still passionate about this core belief: together we can transform lives.

The partnership will see our teams across the Space Solutions Group working with the Cornerstone Foundation at both a local and national level. Supporting the charity as partner with a series of fundraising events, employee volunteering and work experience opportunities throughout 2020. As a business we are committed to supporting our local communities across Scotland and are really pleased to be working with and supporting the Cornerstone Foundation as they celebrate their 40th year.

Hazel Brown, CEO of Cornerstone, joined us as we kicked started our year of fundraising on Friday 31st January, raising over £1500 at our Annual Burns Supper in Glasgow.

I am delighted with the news that Cornerstone Foundation have been selected as Space Solutions charity partner for 2020. Cornerstone provides support for children and adults with life-limiting conditions like dementia, autism and Down's syndrome across Scotland. The support from our corporate partnerships enables us to ensure people with disabilities have opportunity to take part in social activities, make friends, enjoy hobbies and new experiences that would not otherwise be possible.
