Retro First Project shortlisted for two Scottish Awards

This leading Retro First project saw the transformation of the 43,000 sqft property, located in Edinburgh Park to create a fossil fuel free, zero direct emissions building aligned to net zero targets.

Part of a wider project team, SPACE led the architectural and interior design of the project. David Crowe, Head of Architecture & Major Projects: “Our primary focus was on transforming the building into a brighter, more useful space that pulled on natural resources, improving the energy efficiency of the building and creating a flexible layout.”

The Scottish Property Awards dinner and celebration takes place on Wednesday 30 March 2022, and the BCO Scottish Awards on Friday 13 May 2022, both in Glasgow.

The project was led by developer Knight Property Group with the main contractor Clark Contracts; M&E design by Troup Bywaters & Anders, QS services by Axiom and Christie Gillespie, Structural Engineers.
