Overview
The SPACE Glasgow team relocated to 140 West George Street, a perfect central city location providing a street presence and a space to support the need for the design and contract teams to work collaboratively when required whilst supporting the need for individual concentrated work by creating small protected team neighbourhoods
Our Approach
With SPACE teams working across the country a system of agile working was implemented to allow the space to ‘flex’ to accommodate temporary increases in population.
SPACE prides itself as a company that values its people and a fantastic central space was created that supports eating, drinking, informal meeting and town hall activities in the heart of the office.
The opportunity was also taken to showcase the best of modern materials through extensive use of frameless glazing and hi resolution graphics with a nod to the heritage of the building through use of panelled timber doors.
A large format Nordic Moss wall was installed as the dominant feature of the space, designed to showcase SPACE branding.
