SPACE designed the interior design solutions for 5 key areas. Using this knowledge we were able to offer a consistent and rational FF&E solutions throughout the college
The new facility was to accommodate a variety of curriculum areas as well as several Core support services . As part of a consortium led by McLaughlin & Harvey, SPACE were commissioned to provide FF&E design services and integrated interior design services within 5 major training spaces in the new college.
The complex requirements of the building required an end user led approach where SPACE engaged with the key individuals in charge of each department and in tandem with the project Architect and M&E consultant, produced a coordinated design solution in response to the client’s success criteria.
SPACE focused on designing a solution that offered lifecycle value for money, met the key strategic curriculum brief, offers flexibility to changing needs, delivered an attractive, engaging and sustainable learning environment, facilitates modern learning methods, inspires educators and students, and promotes creativity and innovation
