Framework Account Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Framework Account Manager with an overall passion for excellence to join our Business Development team. Working closely with the Bid Manager, you will be completely focused on and responsible for delivering revenue from existing frameworks we’ve successfully secured.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth through existing frameworks
  • Develop proactive action plans for your accounts to meet client retention and budget targets
  • Build and sustain strong, long-lasting relationships with public sector senior managers
  • Manage a portfolio of customers, taking responsibility for growing revenue as well as the day-to-day management of these accounts
  • With guidance from the sales director, actively propose and help implement new and innovative strategies to meet and exceed the department’s overall revenue and profit targets in the sector
  • Support your sales director to produce and monitor accurate and clear forecasting
  • Ensure that knowledge and understanding of the vertical markets served by your customers is gleaned, maintained and developed on an ongoing basis
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure your customer campaigns are properly planned and documented

About You

You’ll have excellent execution and planning skills, with a positive and committed approach to managing our existing frameworks. We’re looking for someone who’s approachable and can use their customer relationship management skills to find the best solutions for our frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2–3 years’ experience within the public sector preferred
  • Previous experience in a Framework Manager role is essential
  • Previous track record of achieving company sales targets is essential

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Proven use of initiative and independent judgment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Highly developed and proven interpersonal skills
  • A creative and proactive approach to preventing, identifying, and solving problems
  • Ability to work independently, setting own priorities and targets
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment

Based in the Central Belt, this role will benefit from a hybrid working model, mixing home and office working. It will involve some travel to other offices in the business and a level of networking outwith hours.
