About the Role

As Digital & Social Marketing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital marketing, overseeing the development, maintenance and delivery of digital channel activity across Space Solutions. You will work closely with other members of the marketing team to champion digital channels, developing platform-specific content that engages our audiences and promotes brand division messaging and campaigns.


  • Manage group websites (currently seven), including maintenance, content management, SEO, and functionality to meet user experience and business objectives.
  • Working with the Head of Marketing and business division leads, develop organic and paid digital and social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the email marketing platform, including setting up templates, testing and user analytics.
  • Oversee social media channels, working with the wider team in the creation, execution and refinement of multi-channel activity and campaigns including organic, email, paid social and digital (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads).
  • Monitor and analyse digital and social media performance using relevant tools and metrics to generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide insights for optimising and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Work with the Content Lead to curate compelling content, including text posts, emails, images, and videos, tailored to each platform and tone of voice.
  • Manage the internal communications platform ‘The Hub’, supporting content upload, design and analytics.
  • Support users to ensure they are fully trained on digital platforms as required.
  • Identify opportunities for digital community growth and engagement as part of our internal communications strategy.
  • Support the delivery of online events, including forums, webinars and exhibitions.
  • Support business-wide digital initiatives.
  • Build and manage positive relationships with group-wide employee body, key stakeholders and delivery partners.
  • Support the development of the Marketing Executive and Marketing Coordinator roles through your expertise, insight and ongoing support, enabling the learning and development of their own social media and digital skills and knowledge.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in digital and social media marketing.

About You

As the Digital & Social Marketing Lead, you’ll drive the strategic planning, development, and delivery of all digital marketing initiatives. Working on organic and paid strategies, you will be an expert in digital and social media best practice, channel growth and performance. You’ll possess both an analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights, as well as keen creative thinking skills, with a passion for staying at the forefront of digital marketing trends.

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3-years practical experience in a similar role
  • Experience managing digital channels, including SEO/Google Ads, email marketing, PPC and other display advertising campaigns
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn and Instagram), their specific requirements and ad-buying to plan and implement campaigns
  • Copywriting skills, with a good eye for detail and experience proofreading digital content
  • Ability to work as part of a small team and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
