Overview
Yorkhill Children’s Foundation provides medical equipment and resources to ensure every child and young person receives the extra special care they deserve.
We worked with the foundation team to design a number of family areas at the new facility being built at the Southern General Hospital.
Our Approach
It was incredibly important to remove the clinical feel of the hospital and create an environment that was calm, relaxing and felt like home. A place where families could enjoy time together and remove the feeling of being in a hospital.
Yorkhill Children’s Foundation thanks SPACE for their professionalism and expertise. Our family rooms have now been designed and furnished in a way which offers comfort to families
