Space Solutions have been delivering a range of specialist consultancy services for a number of years. Our commitment to this area was underpinned earlier this year by the merger with haa Design and we are now excited to announce a series of further key appointments.
Derek Binnie, Director for Strategic Growth commented, “we’ve built a track record of success delivering specialist consultancy services for a broad range of clients. This has included working for other property professionals or construction companies on large-scale capital projects as well as working directly with clients to help them get the most out of their people and property, and navigate periods of change.”
Whilst Space Solutions and haa Design are widely recognised as two of the leading workplace consultancies in the UK, the company also delivers a number of specialist consultancy services which, until now, have been less well publicised. These include Move and Change Management for large, complex property projects, and FF&E Consulting across all sectors including education, health, commercial and specialist technical environments.
Mo Gillespie, formerly Operations Director for MovePlan UK, has been appointed to lead the Move Management Consultancy for Space Solutions and has been joined by senior colleagues Amanda Brown and Louise Williamson. Mo and her colleagues bring a wealth of experience and expertise with them and are already hard at work supporting a number of clients across the UK from Aberdeen to London.
Joe Crawford has arrived to lead the FF&E Consultancy to build on the excellent results that Space Solutions have achieved working on projects such as Ayrshire College. Joe has worked across the UK on a broad range of complex education, health, laboratory, commercial, residential and leisure projects.
Space Solutions have also bolstered the Facilities Management Consultancy which provides industry-leading advice to clients across all sectors to identify opportunities for cost savings and better value from their FM spend. These engagements focus on transformational outcomes, reducing costs and environmental impact as well as maximising operational resilience and improving quality and efficiency for clients.
The Facilities Management Consultancy will now be led by Shona Dunsmore who was formally Operations Director for Carillion whilst Kirsty Laing has recently arrived into the business as a Workplace Consultancy Lead with a breadth of experience working with largescale blue-chip organisations and large public sector clients.
Derek Binnie concluded, “these key appointments signal a new stage of investment and growth for Space Solutions as well as broadening and deepening the expertise on which clients can rely.”
