Our brief from HRC Recruitment was that they wanted to move from their current premises due to expansion. They wanted to create a space with high visual impact on a limited budget. Their brand focus is on their staff and they wanted to create a space that would emphasise this.
The design philosophy was to create a clean, bright & fresh space with a splash of their brand colours to give the space a unique identity. The use of bespoke designed glazing graphics helped to lift the front of house areas in a contemporary and dynamic way. This created a fine balance of bright, brand identity & clean, clear working space, allowing staff to feel at home in their workspace and therefore valued, a key objective of this office design.
The space comprised of a very clear public & private zoning rationale. This allows HRC clients to feel their privacy is being protected when they enter , but also the HRC staff are able to work together collaboratively, as well as individuals, within the same open plan space. This brief was developed closely with the client to achieve the best results on this.
This project benefitted from the optimistic accelerated programme and budget conscious decisions. These key factors resulted in the ability to make quick, creative design choices that were reflected in the innovative flooring designs, bespoke graphics, bold kitchen colours and furniture giving as much creative impact as possible, fitting the vibrant and friendly culture of the team who enjoy the space.
